Brandi Jackson is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Teacher-Led Community Connections Network Member. She is a K-6 Advanced Learning Teacher at Arapaho Classical Magnet in Richardson, Texas. Brandi, in her 17th year of teaching, is an Educator Collective Teacher’s Choice award winner (2024). She is a founding member of the Richardson Independent School District Parent Teacher Association for Special and Gifted Education, teacher liaison on the Gifted Education Alliance board of Richardson, and the correspondence secretary for Richardson Area Alliance of Black School Educators. Previously, Brandi served as mentor teacher, cadre leader, instructional rounds team member, and math specialist at Pegasus School of Liberal Arts & Sciences in Dallas. She helps lead Racine Local Businesses, Inc., which awards $20,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors in her hometown of Racine, Wisconsin. Brandi earned a BBA from the University of Memphis and an MBA from Dallas Baptist University.
