Hannah Branit is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Colorado Policy Fellow. Hannah is a middle school special education teacher and boy’s soccer coach at Rocky Mountain Prep-Federal, in Denver, Colorado. She focuses on teaching students with disabilities in the areas of math, literacy, and self determination. Her goal is to foster student advocacy and empower students with disabilities. Hannah began her teaching career in Denver as a Teach for America corps member where she is in her fourth year as a special education teacher. She earned her BA in psychology from the University of Denver, and her teaching license with an endorsement in special education from ASPIRE, CU Denver.
