Brittany Jones is the 2nd grade master teacher and instructional coach at KIPP Truth Elementary in Oak Cliff, Dallas. Brittany is the LPAC coordinator and director of the KIPP DFW regional summer school for English Language Learners, a program she founded, and was the founding 1st grade teacher and grade level chair at KIPP Truth. Prior to KIPP Truth, Brittany taught kindergarten and 1st grade at KIPP Legacy Preparatory in Houston. She began her career through Teach for America as a pre-kindergarten and 3rd-4th grade teacher in the southwest part of Houston, where she was named the district’s Inclusion Teacher of the Year. Brittany earned a BA in Art History from Emory University in Atlanta, GA, and an MA in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education.
