Kimberly Brown is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and a Pre-K instructor at Wharton Elementary School in Farmington, Pennsylvania. Her main emphasis is the teaching and implementation of developmentally appropriate social emotional skills, based on the individual level of each student. Kimberly began her teaching career in 1990 Uniontown, Pennsylvania. Since then, she has taught various grades between Pre-K and second grade as well as supervising and mentoring numerous Pre-K classrooms. She earned her BA in Elementary & Early Childhood Education from Bowling Green State University and her MA in Special Education with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorders from Carlow University, Pennsylvania.
