Caitlynn Richardson is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Indiana Teaching Policy Fellow. Caitlynn teaches 7th and 8th grade science at Chapel Hill 7th & 8th Grade Center in Wayne Township of Indianapolis where she serves as a facilitator for the Girls Who Code club and is a member of the STEM certification board. She is active on the Economic Welfare Committee of the Wayne Township Classroom Teachers’ Association. She received the Schmidt Memorial Fellowship for outstanding service to the education department at the Fort Wayne Children’s Zoo and earned a Bronze Level Presidential Service Award for over 100 hours of volunteer service at Wonderlab Museum of Science, Health, and Technology. She received a BA in Biology and Political Science and two minors in Education and Animal Behavior from Indiana University and an MAT from the University of Indianapolis through the Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship.
