Carolina Rodriguez started as a 2021 Teach Plus California Emergent Bilingual Change Agent, and is now an Alumni Mobilizer. She has taught middle school STEM, and is currently an instructional coach and the co-president for the South Bay Educators United Teachers Union. Carolina’s passion for working in education is anchored in providing hands-on learning and real-world STEM applications for students who are first generation and/or from families with low-income. She graduated from Smith College with a BA in Studio Art with a minor in mechanical engineering, and received her MEd in secondary education from Santa Clara University.
