Luke Clair-Ficko is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Colorado Charter Teacher Policy Fellow and a 9th grade humanities teacher at Denver Schools of Science and Technology: Elevate Northeast High School in Denver. He serves as a student council sponsor and has previously served as a grade-level team lead. Luke was identified as a “Rising Star Educator” while teaching at Paramount Schools of Excellence (2021-22) and a Denver Schools of Science and Technology ”Flower Person” while working at DSST: Elevate Northeast High School (2022-23). Luke began his teaching career in Indianapolis, Indiana as a 2020 Teach for America Corps Member. He earned his BA is secondary social Studies education from Indiana University.
