Christyn Coles is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute member and Instructional Coach at Woodland Hills High School in Pittsburgh. She works one-on-one with teachers and school leaders to improve student engagement and learning. Christyn collects and analyzes data to assess student needs and measure student progress, and works to build a culture of collaboration and change to increase student achievement. She began her career at a charter school in Pittsburgh, where she taught social studies, and then moved to Woodland Hills School District. Christyn has worked on various committees focused on student success, including mentoring, Student Assistance Program (SAP), and Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). She earned a BS in secondary education with a minor in history from Pennsylvania State University.
