Lydia Lucien Collins is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and a 2nd-grade teacher at the Academy of Math and Science in Little Rock. She began her teaching career at eStem Downtown Elementary, where she taught first grade for four years. Lydia is a board member for Real Images, a nonprofit based in Little Rock that works to ensure young women are empowered and educated to be the best versions of themselves through programs, scholarships, and service. She earned her BS in education and her MA in teaching with a focus area of teaching English as a second language from the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville.
