Daniel Jackson is a 2020-2021 Teach Plus Illinois Policy Fellow. Daniel teaches 2nd grade at Arthur Dixon Elementary in Chicago Public Schools. He is a mentor teacher for young men at Arthur Dixon Elementary. Daniel became a teacher to transform lives of young minds through teaching just as he experienced quality education throughout his career.Daniel is a teaching scholar of the Golden Apple Foundation in Illinois. He is currently enrolled in a Math Specialist program at the University of Chicago. Daniel holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and a English Language Learner endorsement from Illinois State University.
