Andrea Davis is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow who teaches grades 9-12 biology at Northside High School in Houston, where she also is the biology team lead and Black Student Union Founder. She also teaches OnRamps Biology, in which 100 percent of her students have earned college credit. Andrea is a Houston Teach for America alumna, previously teaching at Chavez High School in the Houston Independent School District before serving as the founding Graduation Coach in 2010. At both high schools, she directed Colorguard in the fall and winter seasons. Andrea was featured on the Houston Independent School District homepage for her work with Rice University and Project Equip. She has a BS in biological sciences from the University of Missouri-Columbia and MEd in educational leadership from the University of St. Thomas.
