Dawn Bilbrey is a Teach Plus New Mexico Teaching Policy Fellow. Dawn teaches 8th grade ELA and US history at Texico Middle School and serves as the S.A.T. Coordinator and RtI Specialist for her school district. Dawn is a member of the NM Education Secretary’s Teacher Advisory committee and is a New Mexico Teacher Leader Network Ambassador for the state. In 2017, Dawn was selected as one of the New Mexico Teacher of the Year finalists. She graduated from Eastern New Mexico University with a BA in Secondary Education and earned a MA in Education from Eastern New Mexico University.
