Michelle Day is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Independence Mission Schools Teacher Leadership Project member and a 6th-8th English language arts teacher at St. Malachy School. She focuses on supporting both middle schooler and teacher needs as a middle school lead teacher and serves as the high school coordinator, supporting families and scholars during the high school application process. Michelle received the 2019-2020 Independence Mission Schools’ Teacher Impact Award for Reading. She earned her BA in English education from Messiah University and her MAT from Relay Graduate School of Education.
