Apolonia Dominguez is a 2024-2025 Harmony School Leader Advisory Cabinet Member. She is in her fourth year as a mathematics instructional coach for Harmony Public Schools in the West Texas District, which serves nine campuses located across the cities of El Paso, Lubbock, Odessa, and now Midland. As an instructional coach, Apolonia supports kindergarten through 12th grade teachers with planning and delivering effective data-driven instruction that promotes student success. In addition, she provides teachers and administrators with professional development to strengthen instructional practices and reinforce Harmony’s adopted educational initiatives across the West Texas campuses. Before becoming an instructional coach, Apolonia taught high school math courses for eight years, including algebra I, algebra II, geometry, and International Baccalaureate (IB) math studies years I and II, and advanced quantitative reasoning. Apolonia earned a BA of science in mathematics at the University of Texas at El Paso.
