Kia Dunn is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute member, and lead administrative secretary and Black Student Union sponsor for Woodland Hills High School in Pittsburgh. She leads the front office team, supporting high school administrators and mentoring scholars in the Black Student Union. Kia began her career in education as a substitute secretary at the district’s intermediate school, later being hired and working at several district locations before joining the high school staff. Kia is the vice president of the Woodland Hills Educational Support Professional Union. She earned her BA in history from the University of Pittsburgh.
