Edmicelly Xavier is a 2019-20 Teach Plus Rhode Island Policy Fellow. Edmicelly is a Spanish 2 and Spanish 3 teacher and a 12th grade advisor at Paul Cuffee Upper School in Providence, RI, where she also serves on the communications council committee and the staff members of color committee. She previously taught Spanish at Masters Regional Academy in Smithfield, RI. Edmicelly was a 2018 recipient of the Nellie Mae Education Foundation Reimagining Education Fellowship to attend the Reimagining Education Summer Institute at Teachers College, Columbia University. She graduated from Bryant University with a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting and received her MEd in Urban Education from Providence College.
