Adam Erkeneff is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow and a 4th grade mathematics and science teacher at Capitol Collegiate Academy in Sacramento, California. He focuses on teaching his students to explore the world through the lens of a scientist, mathematician, and critical thinker. Adam’s science plans resulted in his school getting recognized for their first science distinction in 2017-2018. Adam is an Urban Teachers alumni and has spent the majority of his teaching career in upper elementary. He is an alumni of Leadership ISD as well. He earned his BA in Psychology from University of California, Davis and MS in Education from Johns Hopkins University.
