Ernesto Umaña is a 2018-19 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. Ernesto teaches 8th grade math at Summit Public Schools in Richmond, California. He is a former Teach for America and City Year corps member and has worked with students in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. He graduated from UC Riverside with a BA in Political Science and received a Secondary Mathematics Teaching Credential from Loyola Marymount University and his MPP from Harvard University.
