Kelly Fitzpatrick is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Massachusetts Policy Fellow and an elementary ESL teacher at Arnone Elementary School in Brockton. She delivers high-quality pull-out and push-in instruction for students at varying English proficiency levels and works to make classroom instruction more accessible for all. Kelly has previously been a resource, inclusion, and ESL teacher for grades Pre-K through 2. As a special education teacher on a special education evaluation team, she focused particularly on the over-identification of emotional/behavioral disabilities and under-identification of learning disabilities and reading difficulties in students of color. She is an alumna of City Teaching Alliance and is a member of Leaders for Educational Equity. She earned a BA in English from the University of New Hampshire and an MS in education through Johns Hopkins University.
