Brandon Frazer is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Michigan Policy Fellow and a 3rd-grade ELA and social studies teacher at the Foreign Language Immersion and Cultural Studies School (FLICS) in Detroit. He focuses on serving both gifted and general education students to help them reach their highest potential. Brandon was named the Mollie Ray Elementary Teacher of the Year (2019-2020). He began his teaching career through City Year Detroit (2015-2016) and then became a member of the 2016 Teach for America Orlando Corps. He is a current Teach for America Detroit Fellow preparing for his National Board Certification. Brandon earned his BA in international studies, economics, and Asian studies from the University of Michigan. He also received his JD from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. He is pursuing his MEd in Instructional Literacy Coaching at Wayne State University.
