Annette Freeman is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. She is a 2nd grade teacher leader and technology leader at Prunedale Elementary School in Salinas, California. Annette focuses on supporting struggling readers to improve their literacy and self-confidence. She has served as grade level leader, new teacher mentor, and mentor teacher for new teacher candidates from California State University, Monterey Bay. Annette earned her BA in liberal studies, and Cross-Cultural Language and Academic Development (CLAD) teaching credential and master’s in public policy from California State University, Monterey Bay.
