Gabrial Bernard is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow and a 3rd grade generalist teacher at Harmony School of Science in Austin. A fourth-year teacher, Gabrial was recognized as the HSS-Austin Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year. She has served as the 3rd Grade District PLC Leader for all Harmony-Austin campuses, as well as a mentor teacher and a campus PLC leader. Gabrial was previously a Pre-K teacher, beginning as an assistant then becoming a lead teacher. Gabrial earned her MEd in early childhood education from Grand Canyon University.
