Juventina Gamino is an ELD educator at Washington Union High School in Easton, California. She focuses on teaching newcomer students to acquire the English language in order to help them understand it and use it with confidence. Juventina began her teaching career in California as a California Mini-Corps member and has taught various grades between 1st grade and high school. She earned her BA in Liberal Studies with a Bilingual Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development (BCLAD) from California State University, Fresno, and a MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from California State University, Stanislaus.
