Tameakah Gant is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Policy Fellow and a Toddler Teacher at Bright Horizons in Chicago. Tameakah has been in early childhood education for 17 years, working with toddlers for 13 years. She holds an Advanced Certificate in Early Childhood Education, and has received several parent partnership awards for her work with children and families. Tameakah is an alumna of and City Year and a member of the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Tameakah is completing her AA in Teacher Education at Eastern Gateway Community College and plans to pursue her BA.
