Elizabeth Gibbons is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow and a high school English teacher at Clarksdale High School in Clarksdale. She is the lead teacher in the English department and student council advisor. Elizabeth has served as a senior sponsor for the last five years and has been a member of the school leadership team and the State Superintendent’s Teacher Advisory Council. She earned her BS in education and an MEd from Delta State University.
