Hannah Gibbs is a 2024-2025 Illinois Policy Fellow and biology teacher at Pritzker College Prep in Chicago, Illinois. She focuses on the implementation of a new inquiry-based curriculum aligned with NGSS, aiming to cultivate student curiosity and refine their scientific skills through hands-on, exploratory learning that is rooted in culturally relevant anchor phenomena. Previously, she taught 9th-grade biology at North Lawndale College Prep. She began her teaching career as a 2021 Teach For America corps member and has since taught various grades in biology. She earned her BS in human biology at the University of California, San Diego with a minor in international studies and an MAT from the Relay Graduate School of Education.
