Kimesha Guidry is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow. She is a preschool teacher at Whelan State Preschool in Lennox, California. Kimesha focuses on teaching children in a bilingual setting, creating an inclusive and developmentally appropriate learning environment for her students. She is a former Girl Scout troop leader and 2nd Vice President of her CSEA chapter. Currently, Kimesha is on the negotiations team for her union collective bargaining unit and participates in the leadership team in her preschool program. She received her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Kaplan College, her MPA from National University, and her Child Development Certificate from Cerritos College.
