Hannah Gadd Ardrey is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Mississippi Policy Fellow who is in her seventh year of teaching choir, music history, and dual credit music appreciation at Lafayette Middle School and Lafayette High School in Oxford. As a 2021 Grammy Music Educator Quarterfinalist, she uses M.U.S.I.C. as a tool to Motivate, Understand, and Sculpt Independent Citizens both inside and outside of the classroom. Hannah was named the 2019 Mississippi Teacher of the Year and represented Mississippi as the NEA Foundation Award for Teaching Excellence recipient. She serves on the board for both the Mississippi Music Educators Association and the MS Teacher Leader Network. She earned her BM in Music Education and MM in Choral Conducting from the University of Mississippi and recently earned her EdS in Educational Leadership from William Carey University. She is currently pursuing an EdD in Educational Administration and Leadership from Walden University.
