Janet Harrison is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Texas Senior Policy Fellow and 7th grade Demonstration Teacher at JP Elder Middle School in Fort Worth. She also mentors other English teachers and serves on the instructional team. Janet has been Secretary of the Board, Professional Learning Facilitator, and a mentor for the Texas National Board Coalition for Teaching. She holds a National Board Certification in Adolescent-Young Adult English, Language Arts, and Reading. Janet has a BA in literary studies from the University of Texas at Dallas and MEd in educational leadership from Dallas Baptist University.
