Nestor Henrriquez is an ELD teacher, ELD department head, and Latinos Unidos club advisor at Merced High School in Merced, California. He focuses on providing students a platform for them to learn English and advocate for their educational needs. Nestor began his teaching career as part of the Language Institute in Modesto, California. He then moved onto becoming the Department Head at Merced High School. He has received a BA in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Spanish from California State University Stanislaus, an English Teaching Credential (BCLAD) from University of San Diego, and a MEd Digital Learning and Literacy from California State University.
