Lyssa Horvath is a 2022-2023 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow and is a pre-K lead teacher, Certified Yoga Instructor, and mentor at Arch Street Preschool in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She focuses on teaching young children and their caregivers Social and Emotional skills to ensure children and parents have the tools they need to be successful in growing and school. Lyssa’s past experience includes coaching teachers as well as developing curriculum for nationally recognized Early Learning Centers. Lyssa Horvath is a Terri Lynne Lokoff Teacher Award Winner. She earned her BA in English from Mary Washington University, her MEd in Education and teacher credential from Cabrini College, and is a 200-hour CYI Yoga Instructor through Breathe for Change.
