Darleen Ibe is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Darleen teaches OnRamps biology and honors biology at Oscar Dean Wyatt High School in Fort Worth. Darleen has co-facilitated a district New Teacher Academy to help newer educators improve their teaching practices and she served as the class sponsor for the class of 2024 for three years. Darleen previously taught OnRamps physics, honors physics, and pre-AP biology. She was a 2019 DFW Teach for America corps member. Darleen graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BA in behavioral biology and a BA in public health. She earned her MEd from Southern Methodist University, specializing in STEM education.
