James Staros teaches social science in grades 9-12 at King College Prep, a selective enrollment high school near Hyde Park in Chicago, where he also serves as department chairperson and union delegate. A teacher at the school since 2002, James’s courses include world studies, US history, AP US Government and Politics, law in American society, and American studies. He holds a BA in Political Science and History from Gordon College, a MA in History from Southern Illinois University (SIUC), and a PhD in History from SIUC.
