Elizabeth Jameson is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Illinois Early Childhood Educator Policy Fellow and the preK-8th English Language Program Teacher at O’Keefe School of Excellence in Chicago. She focuses on supporting newcomers in their English language development and staff in developing best practices for bilingual students. Elizabeth has also taught preK-2nd grade at two other elementary schools in Chicago and been a leader and member of several school-based committees, including the Culture and Climate Team, Health and Safety Committee, Social Justice and Equity Leadership Team, K-4 Student Council Teacher Liaison, and Principal Selection Committee. She earned her BA in human ecology and education from The Ohio State University and a MS in early childhood development from The Erikson Institute in Chicago.
