Jamie Schnablegger is a 2021-22 Teach Plus California Policy Fellow who teaches English, Ancient World History, and Leadership at Edwin Markham Middle School in Watts. Jamie sponsors the Student Council and 8th Grade Class club and has served as the English Department Chair for three years. In 2018, Jamie was awarded the College of Education Outstanding Initial Credential Student Award. She is currently working on her National Board Certification. Jamie earned her BA in Liberal Studies, her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and Education Specialist Teaching Credential from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) and her MS in Special Education through the Education Specialist and Clear Credential Program at CSULB where she graduated with university honors.
