Jessica Gemma is a 2018-19 Teach Plus Rhode Island Teaching Policy Fellow. Jessica teaches 6th and 8th grade English language arts at Founders Academy in Woonsocket, RI where she serves as a member of the building leadership team, a co-advisor of the National Junior Honor Society, and as the 6th grade team leader. Jessica graduated from Salve Regina University with a BA in Criminal Justice, received an MAT from Rhode Island College in Elementary/Middle Level Education with a concentration in English, and completed her MEd in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Massachusetts Lowell.
