Christian Jovel-Arias is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow. Christian teaches 3rd grade bilingual mathematics at John Neely Bryan Elementary School in Dallas. Christian serves as a mentor for Journey Forward, an organization that supports students academically and professionally, and he is an alumni of the City Teaching Alliance. Christian previously taught 2nd grade mathematics, 4th and 5th grade mathematics and science, and 6th grade mathematics. Christian received his BS in inclusive childhood education from the State University of New York at Cortland and his MEd in education from Johns Hopkins University.
