Kallie Jones is working on increasing the rigor of questioning and tasks to push deeper student thinking and learning. Kallie teachers 1st grade general education at Mary E McDowell Elementary School, where she is a member of the instructional leadership team and is the primary department chair. During the 2015-2016 academic year, Kallie received awards for the highest percentage of NWEA math and reading growth. She previously taught 3rd grade general education. Kallie graduated from Michigan State
University with a BA in English and received her MEd in Youth Development from the University of
Illinois at Chicago.
