Elijah Kane is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Colorado Charter Teacher Policy Fellow and is an 11-12th grade social studies teacher at Denver School of Science and Technology: Conservatory Green High School. He also focuses on school culture as the 11th grade house leader. Elijah previously taught 8th grade social studies and was the social studies department chair and head of the pilot trauma resilience committee. He was named the 2020-2021 DSST Conservatory Green Flower Person of the Year and the 2018-2019 W.A Pattillo Teacher of the Year. Elijah is a Mil Institute Teacher Fellow at the University of Texas at Austin and previously worked as an American South Teacher Fellow through the University of North Carolina. He earned his BA in history with a social studies teaching certification from Messiah University.
