Keauna Cheers is a first grade teacher at John P. Freeman Optional School in Memphis, where she constantly researches strategies and solutions that will assist her students to perform on grade level and above. Keauna previously taught third grade and has served as an interventionist for more than 40 third, fourth and fifth graders. Based on her above average Teacher Evaluation Measurements, she is an irreplaceable teacher. Keauna started her teaching career as a pre-requisite instructor at the University of Tennessee-Martin. She graduated from The University of Tennessee-Martin with a Bachelor of Science in Education and a Master of Science in Elementary Education.
