Paris Kent is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Texas Houston Policy Fellow. Paris teaches 9th-12th grade fine arts dance and is the eMotion Dance Company Director at Bellaire High school in Houston, Texas. She is the department lead for dance and focuses on creating dance curriculum for her campus and district. She is a past teacher mentor and team lead on her campus for new incoming teachers. Paris is a Debbie Allen Dance Academy recipient as well as a dance educators performance scholarship recipient. She is a Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellowship alumna and a member of Kappa Delta Pi and the Texas Dance Educators Association. Paris earned her BFA in dance from Sam Houston State University and her MEd in education administration from Lamar University.
