Kevin Cournoyer is a Teach Plus Maryland Teaching Policy Fellow. He teaches Spanish I and Spanish II at Baltimore Leadership School for Young Women, where he also serves as the union representative and the co-sponsor for the National Honors Society. Kevin has served as the 10th grade team leader and the chairperson for the curriculum committee. He has served on the district’s teacher operations team for New Teacher Institutes since 2012. Upon graduating from college, he received the Janet F. Nolan ‘98 Prize in Psychology, the Lawrence Prize for Innovative Teaching, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa. Kevin became a teacher through Teach For America. He graduated from Goucher College with a BA in Psychology and a BA in Spanish, and received his MAT in secondary education from Johns Hopkins University.
