Jessica Kibblewhite is a 2024-2025 Illinois Policy Fellow and teacher mentor at the Nurturing Teacher Leadership program for teacher candidates pursuing National Board Certification. She was a middle school social science and science teacher at the National Teachers Academy in Chicago, Illinois. Until recently, she was a member of the IL State Board of Education’s State Educator Preparation and Licensure Board. She is a co-founder of Teach to Change Now, an organization in partnership with Teach Plus. She received National Board certification in social studies-history in 2023. She earned a BA in Africana studies from Vassar College and an MEd in learning behaviors from Loyola University Chicago.
