Alisa Kindsfater is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Arkansas Policy Fellow and is a high school English teacher, yearbook advisor, and quiz bowl coach at Mt. Vernon-Enola High School in Mt. Vernon. She sponsors the MVE Beta Club and is a member of the school’s wellness team. Alisa is certified in journalism and oral communications and is pursuing her Arkansas Lead Teacher certification. She earned her BA in English and her MA in teaching at the University of Central Arkansas. Alisa earned her graduate certification in Gifted Education from Arkansas State University at Jonesboro and her virtual teaching graduate certification from Arkansas Tech.
