Dhana King is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute member and kindergarten and 1st grade English language arts teacher at Pittsburgh Westwood PreK-5 in Pittsburgh. She serves on the school’s instructional cabinet team and parent engagement team. Dhana began her teaching career as a paraprofessional in a K-3 emotional support classroom and then became a pre-K teacher at Pittsburgh Northview. Dhana has served as a member of the leadership team for summer programming with Pittsburgh Public School’s Summer Boost and was recognized by Educators Experience, a small business in Pittsburgh. Dhana earned both her BS and MEd at Carlow University, studying early and elementary education.
