Tevin King is a 2025-2026 Teach Plus Texas Senior Policy Fellow and an 8th grade U.S. history teacher at IDEA Public Schools in El Paso, Texas. Previously, he was a university academic affairs officer. His passion for education began during his military service while volunteering at the American Schools of Doha. Tevin has a BA in education and community studies and is pursuing a MAEd with teaching certification, both from the University of Texas at El Paso.
