Jacob Krupitzer

Jacob Krupitzer is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Equity Leadership Institute member and 7th grade reading and English teacher for the Woodland Hills School District in Pittsburgh. He also teaches career exploration seminar courses and facilitates sessions on supporting LGBTQIA+ students and creating inclusive environments. Jacob began his teaching career in 2012, and has since taught Spanish, software applications, and English language arts classes for his district. In addition, Jacob was the director and producer of his school’s junior high musicals (2014-2020) and was a teacher and program coordinator for Pittsburgh’s F.A.M.E. Academy (2016-2022). He was named Woodland Hills School District’s inaugural Distinguished Educator of the Year (2023). Jacob is an AmeriCorps Alumnus and earned a BA in secondary education English from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
