Kyle J. Boyer is a 2021-2022 Teach Plus Pennsylvania Policy Fellow who teaches 7th grade pre-Algebra at Eisenhower Science and Technology Leadership Academy (ESTLA) in Norristown. At ESTLA, Kyle is a member of the school’s cultural proficiency team. He has previously taught both math and social studies at the high school level in several schools. Kyle is also the senior pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church in Coatesville, PA. Kyle has served his community as an elected member of the Tredyffrin/Easttown Board of School Directors and as the immediate past president of the West Chester, PA branch of the NAACP. Kyle earned a BA in Political Science from the George Washington University, both an MSEd and MPA from the University of Pennsylvania, and an MDiv from United Lutheran Seminary where he is completing the DMin program.
