Billie Lara is a 2024-2025 Teach Plus Texas Policy Fellow who teaches Pre-K at the PreK Partnership Center in Dallas. Billie serves on her campus’s focus and work scope groups, helping to analyze the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats for her campus improvement plan. She previously taught 2nd and 4th grade math and science. She is the team lead for her campus, a buddy and mentor teacher, and a recipient of the Recognized Teacher Incentive Allotment designation from the Texas Education Agency. Billie earned a BBA in Business Administration from Lamar University.
