Candice Lee-Chong is a 2023-2024 Teach Plus Texas Harmony Teacher Advisory Cabinet Member. She works as an instructional coach at Harmony Science Academy in Cypress, Texas. She focuses on supporting teachers and students to enhance instruction and learning. She is the math department chair, a member of the instructional leadership team, and a member of the campus improvement committee. She began her teaching career at Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District, completing the district teacher leadership academy, teaching second and third grade, and serving as a mentor, district math model teacher, and math/science liaison. She has also held positions as a professional learning community leader and math interventionist. Candice received her BS in interdisciplinary studies from the University of Houston and her MEd in educational leadership from Stephen F. Austin University.
